Too bad they won't be changing the weapon attachments that don't do anything other than change appearance... wtf.
For me, Nintendo takes most improved but PlayStation remains king.
Unlocking characters isn't a problem, it's the 40 hours per character and being pushed into MTs that people are taking issue with. 40 hours is a huge time commitment for a lot of people. I'd be lucky to be able to sink 40 hours into the game in total. Something like 10 hours would be more reasonable.
The dual camera design helps with calculating depth, similar to our eyes.
It's called inflation. It's a real thing.
Actually, because you're in a cockpit, you're body is more adjusted to that kind of sensation (unless you get car sick). Compared to first person VR games, this should not make people feel as sick.
The main thing is that always online single player is not necessary and it only benefits ubisoft. The only reason I'm against it is because if ive got a couple of hours to play a game and the servers are down, that sucks big time. But at least you can go to the single player. With this you cant, and for no real reason.
Everything Ive read from people that have tried PSVR with glasses have been very complimentary and that it was pretty comfortable even with glasses on.
@cell
Its a seperate game. Dont know the price though.
Edit: Wrong post.
I feel like this is going to be PS3 vs the 360 launch, except with microsoft and sony in opposite positions. It worked out really well for the 360 last time and the only thing that got the PS3 accross the line was playstations fan base.
In terms of sales, I dont think it will work out for microsoft this time around, particuarly for a mid gen performance bump. I guess we'll find out in about 2 years...
PS4P is supposed to have better visuals even at 1080p, whether thats better frame rates or effects will vary between different games. It just depends on whether the price tag is worth it for you.
Unfortunately its not supposed to be compatible.
@Ultimate Not quite true. All the graphical processing for the PSVR is done on the PS4. The breakout box unwraps the VR image for display on your tv and handles 3D audio and input from the headset.
But you are right about it being awesome.
Yes... 1080p for games. Shouldnt have any issues playing 4k video.
I think a full featured 1942 remake would do really well. 1943 was fun, but it was nothing in terms of scale compared to 1942.
I dont understand why people are so intrigued by this. Its been nothing but rumors since day 1 with nothing confirmed. There will be a new "slim" version in the works, but the only hardware changes are probably going to be more about reducing costs than improving performance.
Not sure why people are disagreeing with ziggurcat. Proceedural generation is used in minecraft. If two people use the same seed, they end up seeing the same world. Random generation would mean that the worlds are completely different every time and the next 'tile' on the horizon is chosen somewhat randomly.
It was availabe in Australia since the announcement. But launch day units sold out immediately. Second shipment is also almost sold out and could come in as late as Jan 2017. I think though that Sony will ship a lot more units sooner due to the demand.
I've played every BF and the marketing for this really turned me off. I was ready for a great WWII BF game, but the weird equality agenda in a historically based game doesn't make sense to me. Are we trying to re-write history?
I'm sure theres plenty of incredible stories that weren't just some white guy doing something heroic (ie women/different ethnicities), so show us them. Why they had to make up stories for single player is beyond me. Theres so many cra...
